We’re Jon and Bettina - proud owners of Casa de la Risa since June 2023, and still a little bit in love with it every time we walk through the door. From the moment we first saw the light, the layout, and that rooftop view, we knew it was something special.
This part of southern Spain has a magic all its own - morning walks along the Guadiaro River, long lunches by the sea in Sotogrande, sunsets that stop you mid-sentence. We wanted to create a home that captures all of that - relaxed, stylish, and full of laughter (which is what “Casa de la Risa” means, after all).
Opening our doors to guests was a natural next step. It’s such a joy to see other families making their own memories here - whether it’s grandparents playing cards on the terrace, teenagers splashing in the pool, or parents finally getting that long, slow morning coffee.
